As long-term signage partners with retail brand Number 1 Shoes, Speedy Signs Manukau needed signage to sit behind store counters that would be simple to change out and easy to ship nationwide.

‘They were looking for an illuminated sign that they could quickly change out for seasonal campaigns,’ says Paul Martin from Speedy Signs. ’The Spectra-Tex LED Lightbox from Signage Systems was really the first one that came to mind.’

The Spectra-Tex LED Lightbox incorporates a silicone gripper system for tensioning the textile face print. ‘The printed textile skin has a silicone beading on it, and it’s relatively straightforward for people to change the skin out themselves,’ says Paul.

‘It’s a nice, robust system that’s fit for purpose,’ he continues. ‘Because it's a fairly lightweight sign, it’s not that expensive when you’re freighting it around the country. When the client wants to change the image, rather than have a sign company come out, it’s just a matter of sending the new skin to them.’
