Long Bay College Illuminated Navigator Plinth

When Long Bay College wanted an illuminated pylon to replace a large, defunct LED sign, Chris Cooke of Speedy Signs Albany took the opportunity to use the Navigator Plinth System for the first time.

‘The customer wanted something that would be similar to the other signs on the property,’ says Chris. ‘Signage Systems had just shown me a prototype of the new Navigator Plinth System, which fitted the specs perfectly.’

Navigator Plinth System creates freestanding signs for any application – quick and easy to work with, its durable combination of aluminium finish and ACM panel is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

‘I had considered a normal cut-and-replace ACM/acrylic pylon type sign, but the Navigator Plinth System achieved the look the client was after and was a simpler solution than a folded ACM sign wrapped around a frame. Power for the LED was already installed at the site, so all we needed to do was construct the concrete pad. The finished sign looks great.’
